Credit Card Fees Explained - Late Fee

When you have a credit card you also can have quite a few fees associated with being an owner of a credit card. You can encounter an application fee, an annual fee, cash advance fee etc.

Late Fee
If you do not pay your credit card bill on time each month your may find a Late Fee added to your next bill. You may find yourself paying an additional $15 to $39 late fee. Any time you do not pay by the due date or pay less than the required minimum payment the credit card company will charge you a late fee. All credit card companies charge the fee.

If you prefer not to pay the late fee, you need to pay the creditor on time. If you find yourself in a situation unable to make the minimum payment call the credit card company to make other payment arrangements in order to avoid the late fee and other potential fees.
