First National Bank of Omaha and Murphy Oil Corp. team up to offer new credit services.

Filling up your gas tank just got a lot easier on your wallet thanks to the First National Bank of Omaha and the Murphy Oil Corp. We all need gas in order to drive, and knowing this simple fact, the Murphy USA Platinum Visa card, launched last week, has created a credit card that hands out a $.04 per gallon discount on all of your gas purchases.

There is a catch though: the card is only really applicable to those Americans who live in the Midwest/Southeast. Since the card is in conjunction with the Murphy Oil Corp. the discounted gas is only available through their gas stations, which include the El Dorado Ark. Petroleum Company, a popular supplier of gas in the Midwest/Southeast. If you live in this region, the Murphy USA Platinum Visa is a great way to save money at over 1,000 locations where Murphy controlled gas is sold, but that's not all the card offers.

On top of the discounted gas available through the new card, the people at the First National Bank of Omaha have managed to squeeze in a cash back rewards program as well. For every non-gas purchase made with the card, you will see a 1 percent cash-back bonus on that purchase. This is great news for someone looking to find a credit card that will really work to save them money. And as an added bonus to sweeten the whole deal, the card is free with no annual service charge.
