Zync from American Express is new addition to American Express charge cards with appeal to young adults. Zync works like other American Express Cards, meaning you will have to pay your balances in full each month and there is an annual fee - low annual fee of $25.00 for the Zync. You will also earn reward points, similar to the regular Membership Rewards program, but slightly different. The Zync American Express reward program is called Membership Rewards Express. The Membership Rewards Express doesn't allow transfer of points to airline partner miles.

Zync from American Express offers a special feature for its card members and that is a choice of a package for ability to earn extra reward points. There are fees associated with the these "Packs". The packs are optional features and you can have the standard Zync card without any of the packs. The packs range from doubling points for airline miles to extra points for restaurants, tickets etc. called "Social pack".

With Zync from American Express you do not pay interest charges - as the balance is due each month in full. At the same time the card offers your protection for purchases and against fraudulent activity.
