Platinum Delta SkyMiles Credit Card may be the card for you if you travel frequently and use Delta or other partner airlines for your travel. You earn one SkyMile for each dollar spent. The Delta SkyMiles Card is by American Express and you can book your travel online either by American Express Travel site or at Delta.com. You will need your SkyMiles number for the online booking. The number is printed on the front of the SkyMiles Card.

After your first purchase with the Delta SkyMiles card you receive up to $20,000 bonus miles, which includes 5,000 Medallion Qualification Miles.

The earned miles never expire and you can use miles, even for a partial payment for a flight. For example, if you have 10,000 SkyMiles you can for $100 off your flight. You can pay the rest with your Delta SkyMiles card.

Delta SkyMiles card does charge an annual fee - which is typical for cards with miles rewards. The fee is $150 per year. The purchase APR is 14.50% and late fees are either $19 - if balance is under $250 or $39 - if balance is over $250.
